NESOP St. Barbara's Day HMCS Calgary Dec 4

As I outlined previously, HMCS Calgary will be hosting a St. Barbara's Day with a ceremonial firing on Dec 4th, details:

CAL intends to celebrate St. Barbara’s Day, 4 Dec, by firing a gun salute using C7 Rifles during a 1030 ceremony.  The Ceremony format has been drawn from a combination of the RN and USN ceremonies and is designed to reflect the spirit of gunnery in the fleet, despite the lack of larger guns. CAL is sending a message, SEPCOR, to all orgnaizations within DY to invite them to attend if they wish, and there will be light refreshment (read coffee and tea) after on the flight deck.

I'm sure a tour of gunnery facilities will be provided also! Sorry to say, I cannot attend.
