As I outlined previously, HMCS Calgary will be hosting a St. Barbara's Day with a ceremonial firing on Dec 4th, details: CAL intends to celebrate St. Barbara’s Day, 4 Dec, by firing a gun salute using C7 Rifles during a 1030 ceremony. The Ceremony format has been drawn from a combination of the RN and USN ceremonies and is designed to reflect the spirit of gunnery in the fleet, despite the lack of larger guns.
